Free Dialysis Center
20 years ago when a man from Kutch suffered from kidney disease, he had to travel 400 km for dialysis. Had to go far to Ahmedabad, Rajkot or Nadiad. Hospital Chairman MJF Lion Bharat A. d. Mehta’s dream was to relieve the patients of Kutch from this problem. And here they set up a dialysis center. Today the patients of Kutch are getting kidney dialysis facility free of charge here.
Free Eye Cataract Operation
The hospital team organizes free eye check-up camps in different villages of Kutch district. During the eye examination of the patients in this camp, if a patient is found to need cataract or cataract surgery, he is called to Bhuj Lions Hospital for surgery. With the financial support of donors, 3-4 free mega eye operation camps are organized every month and eye operations are done free of cost to patients.
